Fully Illustrated

Below are 2 drawings that I featured on the blog a few weeks ago, fully illustrated.

Well, I'm gonna explain what the 'Turtle' picture is about since many of the people I asked to comment about it didn't get it. Its basically about a turtle who got so lonely all by himself that he imagines objects (that he seen before previously in his life) with eyes and mouths. Eventually, his imaginations go into overdrive and he pictures the objects talking. Hence, he exclaims," For my imagination, you guys talk too much." See?! Perfectly easy to get what the drawing is about! :/

Sensitivity Training

Saw this video off one of those chain e-mails which people normally find ever so irritating. However, this chain e-mail sent by Mengxuan really cracked me up (well... except the last part which was lame...). Kudos to the person who made this video. ;)

Da Best and Worst of 2008

I know it's kinda late to talk about 2008 but well... I'm always lazy to blog :/
At least I'm talking about it now... :]
As stated in the title, this post is about the best and worst of my roller coaster-like 2008 year.
I'll start with the worst first since I have very little to say about it...

Da Worst of 2008
Can't say too much about the worst parts of 2008 since I tend to put the bad parts of my life away. However, on of the worst parts of my 2008 year is perhaps having to rush my Design and Technology folio. It was bullshit really. For a period of time, we had to stay up till 3, 4 or even 5 in the morning while rushing our folio. Madness but I must say to think back, it was actually quite fun. Every few minutes while working on our folios, we would call each other to check on each others' progress. Its actually quite funny when I think about it. I mean we are suppose to be 'enemies' since we are all competing for the holy grail named 'Distinction', yet we are all concerned about the progress each other are making. Maybe we are influenced by Mr Low as he always say that we should be a team and help each other out or maybe its because we have been together for so long and we feel united. Whichever it is, I'll always remember the time we (...as in 4E4) spent together. Well, other than that there isn't much I can complain about 2008. Except, maybe... okay there is absolutely nothing I wanna change about it. There... said my peace for the worst of my 2008.

Da Best of 2008
2008 was great to be honest. I couldn't say what was the best out of the many great news in 2008 if you asked me a thousand times. Though I can easily mention what was memorable in 2008 for me. One of the most memorable things for me was dogs in Serangoon Gardens. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Serangoon Garden dogs are one of the sneakiest types of dogs I have seen in my life. There was once when James and I were walking to our tuition 'house' for a Christmas Party when a dog hid behind the wall and launched an ambush (where he barked at James and James jumped in fright) on James. I was left laughing my ass off while James started shouting hokkien profanities at the dog. Well, I should know how James felt since I was frightened by the same dog only a few months back. Well, the Serangoon Garden dogs are not only sneaky, they are also vicious. I remember once when I was really young when I was walking back home from the supermarket when a dog was set loose and it bit me on the butt. Oww. I had to go for an injection on my butt (to prevent rabies or something) at the doctor's after that. God. I hate dogs. :/ Well, another memorable part of 2008 was my teachers who were... pretty eccentric. Some constantly told us we were gonna fail our 'O' Levels (jokingly of course) while others made 'racist' jokes at some of our classmates. Some even had... 'spilt personality'. But I have to say it was them that motivated us to strive for good results. If they weren't our teachers, I dare say our results would be much worse.

Well, thats it for my conclusion of 2008. Well, of course it isn't as short as above... there is still alot of things that happened but sometimes... its better to keep things close to your heart and never out of your mouth. :)
