Blind

Today, I was doing a poster for one of Design Studies Club's events in the MacDonald's at Bugis Street when something caught my eye: a man in his forties lighting his cigarette.

At first, it didn't register in my brain but after a few minutes or so, I realised that the man was attempting to smoke in MacDonald's and there was a smoke detector just above him.

I was starting to panic. The MacBook that I was using didn't belong to me. It belonged to Hilary Jane and I knew that if anything happened to the MacBook, she would kill me. I was thinking of what to do. Should I keep everything and place the MacBook on my lap (under the cover of the table)? Should I tell one of the MacDonald's employees?

The most ridiculous thing was that none of the MacDonald's employees noticed that he was smoking. This despite him lighting the cigarette several times. God, are they blind?

Even if they were slightly blind, they should have at least been able to sniff the smoking smell! God! Fortunately, the smoke from the man's cigarette wasn't detected by the smoke detector and that he left quickly.

People these days... why are they so non-observant?

Music

An empty house
A feeling of being trapped
Must Get Out
A deserted street
A feeling of emptiness
Must Shout Out
A music player
A rush of emotions
Feels much better...

Passage of Time

Happy Birthday Ma-Ma. I miss your milo a lot! Hahah. Yes, although you have aged a lot and it is evident on your skin, you are one of my pillars of strength..

Mommy! Thanks for always supporting me in everything I do! Although sometimes I do things that you may not like, you still support me no matter what. Thank you.

Although I have grown and matured, I am still that small and naive boy of yours! :)
